Nile Air is the leading private Egyptian premium airline flying scheduled flights out of its two hubs, Cairo (CAI) and Alexandria (HBE), to cities in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait city. Nile Air started operation in March 2011, with two leased young Airbus A320s, each of which is configured with 8 business and 156 economy seats. Current Nile Air schedule includes flights from Cairo to Jeddah, Yanbu, El-Gassim, Taif, and Tabuk, flights from its second hub Alexandria to Jeddah, Yanbu, El-Gassim, and Kuwait city. The airline also operates a seasonal service connecting Luxor to Kuwait city. The airline is established for the main purpose of offering regular and charter air transportation services for passengers nationally and internationally.
