Qatar Airways is the state-owned flag carrier of Qatar which was founded on 22 November 1993 and started operations from 20 January 1994, having its Headquarter in the Qatar Airways Tower in Doha. The airline operates a hub-and-spoke network, linking over 150 international destinations across Africa, Central Asia, Europe, Far East, South Asia, Middle East, North America, South America and Oceania. The airline has its scheduled services from its main hub Hamad International Airport using a fleet of more than 180 aircraft and its wide-body, narrow-body Airbus and Boeing variants operate a mix of short, medium, and long-haul international routes.
Qatar Airways slogan is "Going Places Together" The carrier has been a member of the Oneworld alliance since October 2013, the first Gulf carrier to sign with one of the three airline alliances. Qatar Airways operates First Class, Business Class, and Economy Class. Qatar Airways' in-flight entertainment system is called Oryx One. Qatar Airways' dedicated terminal for first and business class passengers include check-in, duty-free shopping, conference rooms, nursery and play area, spa treatment rooms, sauna, jacuzzi and restaurants.
